Shark Bait are a Leeds-based pop punk band built on big hooks, loud guitars and the kind of honesty that comes from actually living through the things we write about.
We’ve spent the last few years figuring out who we are — playing shows, making noise, and sharing stages with bands we grew up listening to like The Ataris and Such Gold, as well as UK heavy hitters like As December Falls. Along the way, we even got to work with Seb Barlow (Neck Deep), which still feels a bit surreal.
But this next chapter feels different.
Our new single “I Thought The Hurricane Season Was Over” came from a place of frustration, change, and figuring things out the hard way. It’s about what’s left when something falls apart — and what you do with it after.
We’re not trying to reinvent pop punk. We just want to make music that feels real, hits hard, and sticks with you.
